WFCM serves qualified individuals and families of all races, colors, national origins, ages, genders, disabilities/differing abilities, and religious beliefs, from the communities of Chantilly, Centreville, Clifton, Oak Hill, Herndon, Fairfax, and Fairfax Station. PVUMC collects nonperishable food weekly and delivers food monthly to WFCM.
LAWS Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Services provides free, confidential services to all adults, youth and children who are victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, stalking, and child abuse. PVUMC collects current-needs items for LAWS.

Pleasant Valley UMC contributes to the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR). UMCOR is the humanitarian relief and development arm of The United Methodist Church. UMCOR assists United Methodists and churches to become involved globally in direct ministry to persons in need.
As special needs arise, the congregation provides help. Projects include shoes for needy children in Central America, warm caps for children in Baja, comfort blankets for those who have lost loved ones.
The PVUMC Pastor uses discretionary funds to provide short term aid to help the needy with food, fuel and other living expenses.
Two other congregations share our Church building as their place of worship. Self help groups regulary meet here. Scouting America uses our church and ground for meetings and activities.
